Father’s Day activities in the Ottawa area

  • Billings Estate National Historic Site will be open June 21st from 10 am to 4 pm for the Father’s Day Antique Car Show. If your dad loves cool antique cars, this is the outing for you. There will also be live musical entertainment and a scavenger hunt for kids. The cost is 6$ per person or 16$ per family. There will also be a BBQ at an extra cost.

 

  • Father’s Day at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum will be on Sunday, June 21 from 10 am to 4 pm. The theme for Father’s Day at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum is It’s tool time! With many different cool tools to discover, woodworking demos and even the possibility to test your own woodworking skills. There will also be a life-sized game of Sorry for the whole family to enjoy. The cost is 7$ per person, 5$ for students or seniors and 18$ for families

 

  • Father’s Day BBQ at the Nepean Museum Sunday, June 21 from 1 pm to 4 pm. There will also be games of horseshoes, barrel racing or tug-o-war to play with your dad. The cost is 6$ per person or 16$ per family.

 

  • Father’s Day Heritage Trades Show at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site Sunday, June 21 from 10 am to 4 pm. Travel back in time with your dad by experiencing demonstrations of different trades like rope making, carpentry or blacksmith. The cost is 6$ per person and 16$ per family.

 

  • Father’s Day Brunch at the Museum of Nature on June 21st. The cost is 39.99$ for adults, 37.99$ for seniors and students, 19.99$ for children 5 to 12, 6.50$ for children 3 to 4 and free for children 0-2. The price includes the admission to the museum. Reservations are recommended.

 

  • Take your dad to Operation father’s day at Diefenbunker, Canada’s Cold War Museum on June 20th 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm. Activities will include a kiddie commando course, a military vehicle and cold war vehicle displays. The cost is 15$ per person and 40$ per family.

 

  • Make a Tie Dye Tee with your dad on June 13th from 1 to 4 pm at your local Micheal’s store. The cost is 7$

 

 

  • Bring your dad to play a game of Laser Quest. The cost is 8.50$ per game per person.
