The Metcalfe Fair will be on this weekend from September 27th to 30th.

The Ottawa Geek Market will be on this weekend from September 28th to 30th at the Nepean Sportsplex, it’s the 10th edition of Ottawa’s premier celebration of all things geeky. Kids 12 and under get in for free with a paying adult (max 5 kids per adult, the first 3 are free, the 4th and 5th child are $2 each). This family friendly event will feature gaming, incredible cosplay, awesome free interactive activities, amazing food, and over 100 of the best local geeky exhibitors selling incredible products.

Fall Rhapsody in the Gatineau Park will be starting on Saturday September 29th. Come enjoy the beautiful fall colours in the Gatineau Park. Since it is a very popular event, the NCC will have free shuttles from downtown Ottawa and Gatineau that will take you to Pink Lake, King Mountain and Champlain Lookout.

Don’t miss the annual Carleton Butterfly Show where are can see 1,300 exotic butterflies representing 41 different species worldwide. The show will take place in the greenhouses of Carleton University’s Biology Department from September 29th to October 7th from 9am to 4pm.

N.U.T.S will be at the Canadian War Museum on Sunday September 30th from 10am to 4pm with its interactive Obstacle Course complete with Canadian military trivia! Tons of fun for kids and adults!

OutGrow OutPlay Kanata will be having their Fall & Winter sale this weekend at the Sensplex on Maple Grove Road.

Cineplex Saturday family movies will be playing Wonder on Saturday September 29th at 11am for just 2.99$

Free Zumba on the Parliament Hill on Sunday September 30th from 3 to 4:15pm. Don’t forget your water and your smile! Open to all ages.

CHRI is partnering again with Athletes In Action and the Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group for Faith Day with the Ottawa Fury FC on Sunday September 30th starting at 1pm. The event will feature post-game family activities and interviews with the players! Ticket includes game, Kids Zone in the Log Cabin during the game, with bouncy castles, face painting, and games, and meet & greet, interview, autographs after the game (around 4:00pm)

Haunting Season at Saunders Farm will be on this weekend with tons of great activities including the haunted hayride for kids, tons of mazes, the barn of terror, the jumping pillows and much more.
