SATURDAY JUNE 22nd

The 2019 Edition of the Ottawa Ribfest on Sparks Street will be open from 11am to 10pm.

The Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival will be on at Mooney’s Bay with tons of family fun including the Scotiabank Family Fun Zone.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial will be showing at participating Cineplex as part of the Cineplex Family Favourites at 11am for only $2.99 per person.

Handmade Fun: Create a Special Companion from 10am to 4pm at the Canadian Children’s Museum Studio. Celebrate spring with a hands-on craft. Activity is included in museum price.

The Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival will be on at Vincent Massey Park with tons of family fun including trying zip-lining and zorb balls, face painting, family-friendly activities and much more. 1

The CHEO Teddy Bears’ Picnic will be held at Rideau Hall from 8am to 2pm. It is the CHEO Foundation’s way to say thank you to our wonderful community for the incredible support CHEO receives throughout the year. It’s a family event that is packed full of fun activities for kids of all ages.

Get Crafty For Julia from 9am to 8pm at Holy Trinity Catholic High School.
Calling all crafters of any kind! Come help support Julia and the Millers in their fight against acute myeloid leukemia – gather your friends and family for a day of crafting (scrapbooking, stamping, knitting, quilting, painting) you name it – there is something for everyone.

Seed to Savour at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site from 10am to 4pm.
Learn what produce was grown during early years at Horaceville, get hands-on in the heritage garden, and observe traditional methods of preparing and preserving food with a different theme each week.

Ottawa Slime Invasion at Kanata Rec Complex from 11am to 3pm.

Jo-Jo’s Fun Fair at Jo-Jo’s Pizzeria from 11am to 2pm.
Come and celebrate the start of summer at our annual fun fair! This year’s party includes FREE pizza, bouncy castles, petting zoo, face painting, fire truck, pony rides, DJ + dancing, ice cream and more!! Free Admission!!

SUNDAY JUNE 23rd

Zumba on the Hill is back at 4pm on Parliament Hill. Everyone is welcome! Don’t forget your water bottle.
