SATURDAY AUGUST 24th 2019

The Chesterville Fair and the Capital Fair will be on this weekend.

Changing of the Guard Ceremony on Parliament Hill at 10am

Summer Family Mornings will take place at the NAC from 10am to noon. There will be FREE activities, games, musical guests and more, for children of all ages.

Tales with a Twist at the Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe at 3pm and 7pm.

The Canadian Museum of History welcomes Indigenous Experiences at 11:15am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm. 
Come explore Indigenous culture firsthand through dance performances, near a site once used as both a trading post and a place of friendship and celebration. Tickets are 10$ per person.

Storytime at Rideau Hall from 1pm to 3pm. Frontier College staff and volunteers invite the general public, families, and groups of children to settle in under the Reading Tent to read books and to participate in fun reading, writing, and science activities. While you are at Rideau Hall, take in the sights and visit for the whole day!

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World will be playing at Riverside Park. Free snacks will be provided by Kemptville Churches.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit will be playing at the Dovercourt Recreation Centre starting at 8pm.

Lego Movie 2 will be playing at Lansdowne Movie Nights starting at 8:30.

It’ll be the Grande Finale at the Casino du Lac Leamy Sound of Light Firework at the Bytown Museum and the theme is EMOJIS.

Northern Lights – Sound & Light Show on Parliament Hill will be showing at 9:30pm. A show featuring key figures, events and achievements from Canadian history are brought to life against the backdrop of the Centre Block and Peace Tower. It’s FREE!

SUNDAY AUGUST 25th 2019

Nokia Sunday Bikedays from 9am to 1pm. 
Enjoy car-free cycling on Ottawa’s scenic parkways during NOKIA Sunday Bikedays .

Pinhey’s Past Times at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site from 10am to 4pm. Enhance your museum experience with a natural science or social history demonstration.

Changing of the Guard Ceremony on Parliament Hill at 10am.

Creative Sundays at the Ottawa Art Gallery will be on from 10am to 2pm. Join the Studio for weekly drop-in activities suitable for all ages.

Zumba on the Hill is back at 4pm on Parliament Hill. Everyone is welcome! Don’t forget your water bottle.
