Family Fun in Ottawa during the month of June 2022

June has many family friendly festivals, fairs & outdoor events for the whole family to enjoy!

The annual Blackburn Hamlett Funfair will be on from June 3rd to 5th 2022 with a movie night, a softball & volleyball tournament, a parade,  a used book sale, face painting, bouncy castles, live entertainment, Little Ray’s Reptiles and much more!

Have your kids explore Ottawa’s architecture, culture & history for FREE during the 2022 edition of Doors Open Otawa which will be held June 4th and 5th.

The first edition of the Buzzing Carnival will take place June 4th & 5th 2022 at Nepean Creative Arts Centre.

On Saturday June 4th, the Governor General’s Foot Guards will be exercising their Freedom of the City of Ottawa with a parade as part of their 150th Anniversary. They will march from Cartier Square to the Ottawa City Hall Heritage Building.

Come taste delicious ribs at the Ottawa Rib Fest on Sparks Street from June 1st to 5th 2022.

The Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival will be held June 21st to 26th 2022 at Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa. It is a family friendly festival that celebrates the culture of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples with Competition Pow Wow, Family Friendly Entertainment on main stage, a family fun zone and much more.

The Tim Horton Dragon Boat Festival will take place at Mooney’s Bay from June 24th to 26th 2022 with tons of FREE family fun.

Don’t miss Planet Ice: Mysteries of the Ice Ages, an amazing exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Nature on until September 6th 2022.

Enjoy a family movie for only 2.99$ + tax on Saturday mornings as part of the Cineplex Family Favourites.
