


Come celebrate Canada’s diverse history on February 4th from 8:30 to noon at the Shenkman Centre in Orleans
The morning will be filled with activities for the whole family to enjoy!
- Savour a $5 pancake breakfast prepared by Cora’s Breakfast and Lunch.
- Young imaginations run woodland-wild with Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre‘s whimsical excerpt from Felicity Falls, the fable of a small rabbit who just can’t get to sleep, set in the Ottawa Valley.
- Prepare to get some face painting done with LynneART Face & Body Art
- The Canadian Classic, The Hockey Sweater will be presented by the OYP Theatre School
- Enjoy live music from the French-Canadian folk group La Ridaine
- Celebrate and honor indigenous cultural dance with Spirit of Dance
- The Ottawa Stilt Union will bring interactive, improvisational Stilt Theatre to our snowy Saturday.
- Embrace winter with some outdoor games presented by Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex and the Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA
- The Canada Science and Technology Museum will have Fire and ice demonstrations
- Try harvesting, sawing and hauling ice thanks to the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum.
