Doc MCStuffins: The Exhibit will open on January 25th at noon at the Canadian Children’s Museum. Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit is based on Disney Junior’s award-winning series about a young girl who aspires to be a doctor like her mom, and magically communicates with toys. Imaginative play and hands-on activities teach important life lessons about health and wellness. There’s so much you can do to take care of you!
Princess PJ Party at Kids Kingdom Kanata on Friday January 24th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. There will be a sing-along with the princesses, games, and dinner with a special princess movie! There will also be time for some free play on the structure! Tickets are $30 per child and must be purchased ahead of time!
Animal Tracking on Snowshoes in the Gatineau Park. Take a FREE snowshoe hike in the Gatineau Park with a nature guide to find animal tracks and learn how they live in the winter. Winter Fun Day on Saturday January 25th from noon to 3pm at Kingsmere Park. An afternoon of skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides and marshmallow toasting. Food (for purchase) and hot chocolate will be served.
Winter Carnival at Westboro Beach on Saturday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Activities include hot chocolate, marshmallows to roast on the bonfire, homemade cookies, snow blocks and paint and a great togoggan hill.
Winter carnival at Dovercourt Recreation Centre on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. Activities include sleigh rides, face painting, skating on the pond, glow hockey on the rink, a bonfire, sliding and games, hot chocolate and Dovertails; then warm up inside with a float-in movie in our warm water pool!
Winter Princess Party on Sunday January 26th at Boston Pizza Barrhaven from 11am to 2pm. This very popular kids party has something for everyone: crafts, games and even a concert!! You heard that right folks, your favorite winter princesses will be performing their favorite songs. The Last Polar Bears at the Shenkman Arts Centre on Sunday January 26th at 1:30pm or 3:30pm. The Last Polar Bears is the funny, moving story of a grandfather’s unlikely trip to the Arctic with his opinionated dog, Roo.
