Easter Weekend Activities in the Ottawa Area


With Easter just a week away, here are some awesome kid friendly Easter activities happening in the Ottawa area!

Happy Easter!!

Maple Ridge Center is organizing a Good Friday Family Fun Day on April 14th from 10am to 3pm. Activities include an Easter Egg Hunt,  horse drawn wagon rides, a visit with the Easter Bunny, giant inflatables, Easter crafts, face painting and much more. Tickets  are 12$ per person or a family pass of 5 tickets for $50.

Celebrate Easter at Valleyview Little Animal Farm with an Easter Egg Hunt that will be held every day of the Easter Weekend. Admission is 10$ per person for everyone above 2.

Midway’s Ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza will be on Saturday April 15th from noon to 4pm.

St Paul Lutheran Church in Ottawa is organizing an Easter Sunday Egg Hunt Extravaganza on Sunday April 16th with an Easter Breakfast as well as an Educational Egg Hunt. Event is FREE but space is limited so register your family quickly!


Easter at the Museum

The Easter Bunny is at the Diefenbunker once again this year! Come to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 15th from 11am to 4pm. Tickets are 14$ per adult, and 8$ for children 6-18.

Come celebrate Easter at the Farm at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum from April 14th to 17th from 9:30 to 4pm. Tickets are 11$ for adults, 9$ for children 3-12 and 30$ for a family of 2 adults and 3 children.

Celebrate Easter at the Estate on Saturday April 15th from 10 am to 4pm with crafts, traditional egg dyeing and an egg hunt. Admission is 6.30$ for 1, 10.45$ for 2 and 16.75 for a family.

The Golden Egg Hunt is back at the Canadian Children’s Museum every day until April 17th. Kids will be able to earn a treat once they track down the 12 golden eggs left by the Easter Bunny.

Hop into Spring at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum on April 15th from 10am to 4pm with the Curious Cottontail Easter Bunny. Admission is 7.30$ for adults and 18.80$ for a family


Easter at the Mall

Comme meet the Easter Bunny, get a photo and make a craft at Hazeldean Mall on April 15th from 11am to 3pm

On April 15th from 11am to 4pm, Carlingwood Mall will be having an Easter hat Parade, pictures with the Easter Bunny and special treats from Laura Secord!


Easter at the Sugar Bush

Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm is having their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 15th 2017. Tickets are 5.25$ per adult and 7.75$ per child.

Celebrate Easter at Proulx Berry Farm from April 14th to 17th with an egg hunt, face painting and a clue hunt.
