April is Autism Awareness Month! The Bank of Canada Museum is now offering Sensory Sundays!
Did you know that the Bank of Canada Museum has a morning a month where they create a quieter, calmer atmosphere in the Museum? They’re called Sensory Sundays.
What to expect:
- Reduced ambient sounds
- Additional directional signs
- Noise-cancelling headphones available to borrow from the front desk
- A designated quiet area
Programming
- 9:00–10:00: Early Sunday opening for those looking to avoid crowds for our sensory-friendly activities.
- 10:00–12:00: Sensory activities continue during regular Museum hours.
