As president of a community group in Manotick, the Manotick Culture, Parks and Recreation Association (MCPRA), we would be interested in looking at ways to bring the “free movies” program to Manotick. As an association we did in past years, hold one movie night per summer outdoors, but found rental costs and weather variables difficult to predict. If you could tell how your program determines locations etc, we would appreciate more information.

I’m interested in seeing Star Wars The Force Awakens at Walter Baker Park in Kanata, Friday July 8th. It states that the movie begins at dusk. I google the time for dusk, which is 9:30. That seems very late, especially considering the start times of other movies. I went to a movie last year that started “at dusk” and showed up early so that I could hang out with my friends, and when we arrived the movie had already started. It would be so much easier to post a time for the movie.
