    1. I have added two more in the East end. June 24th: La Guerre des Tuques and August 26th: The Peanuts Movie both at Queenswood Heights Centennial Park 🙂

  1. I too love to see some in the east of town especially in french! These are great! We are definitely going to be attending. Thank you!

    1. Another one in Kanata was just added 🙂
Saturday August 13th starting at 7pm: Zootopia at Stonemeadow Park in Kanata

  2. Chaperal Residents Association is holding two this year at Ouelette Park in Orleans. The first is on July 8th. The other is sometime in August. They are posted on

  3. As president of a community group in Manotick, the Manotick Culture, Parks and Recreation Association (MCPRA), we would be interested in looking at ways to bring the “free movies” program to Manotick. As an association we did in past years, hold one movie night per summer outdoors, but found rental costs and weather variables difficult to predict. If you could tell how your program determines locations etc, we would appreciate more information.

  4. I’m interested in seeing Star Wars The Force Awakens at Walter Baker Park in Kanata, Friday July 8th. It states that the movie begins at dusk. I google the time for dusk, which is 9:30. That seems very late, especially considering the start times of other movies. I went to a movie last year that started “at dusk” and showed up early so that I could hang out with my friends, and when we arrived the movie had already started. It would be so much easier to post a time for the movie.

What time does the movie start?

    1. did anyone answer this for you? was wondering the same thing? what time did u show up that the movie already had started? just to get an idea of when to get there . Thank you!

  5. Is the movie on in Kanata tonight? Looks like it’s not going to be raining before midnight.
What time will it approximately start? Thanks!

  6. Hi I was wondering if the movie at walter Barker is still on tonight? when will they make the final call due to weather?

  7. The movie minions which was supposed to be tonight at oldfield park, was it cancelled too? Because, we went at 7.30pm no one was there..
