Parliament Hill’s Centre Block will be Closing for Renovations

Parliament Hill’s Centre Block will be closing to visitors on January 25th 2019 for renovations that are set to last at least 10 years.

 

 

Closing will include the Centre Block as well as the Library.

 

Visit will however still be possible at 2 other locations including guided tours of the Senate at the Senate of Canada Building as well as the House of Commons in the West Block.

 

You can also tour the East Block from July to early September and visit restored heritage rooms. If you are visiting in the summer, you can even also tour the grounds, watch the Changing of the Guard in the morning and then go for a walk in the ByWard Market or along Rideau Canal.
