There will be something for everyone to enjoy on for Canada Day in Ottawa! This year the celebrations will mostly take place at LeBreton Flats Park and Place des Festivals Zibi from 9am to 10:30pm.
O Canada Orleans at Petrie Island in Orleans. Canada Day on Petrie Island is one of the largest Canada Day events in the nation’s capital, and the premier destination for our incredible eastern Ottawa communities to take part in all things Canadian in celebration of our country’s birthday. From the KidZone to BeerZone, from live music to live animals, and from opening ceremonies to beachfront fireworks, join us for a spectacular party full of civic pride, many free activities and tons of family fun.
Canada Day in Kanatawill be held at Walter Baker Park on July 1st starting at 8am. Activities will include live bands, family fun zones, midway and of course, a beautiful display of fireworks!
Mattamy Homes Canada Day in Barrhavenat Clarke Fields from 8 am to 10:40 pm with a Kids Zone with activities & games, stage shows, midway rides, senior’s and family breakfast, free birthday cake live music and fireworks at 10 pm.
Canada Day in Carleton Placeat Riverside Park starting at noon with tons of activities and entertainment for children of all ages. The day will end with fireworks at 9:45 pm over the Mississippi River.
Canada Day in Rockland at Du Moulin Parc from 9 am to 10:30 pm with a pancake breakfast, live music, inflatable games, face painting, Jojo Children’s show, Meet the Keepers & fireworks.
Canada Day Celebrations in Russell from noon to dusk with Kids Games and Activities, Bouncy Castles and Carnival Games, volleyball tournament, facepainting, Russell Fire Department Giant Water Sprinkler and fireworks in the evening.
Canada Day in Stittsville at Sacred Heart High School from 1 pm to 10:00 pm with live music, games and entertainment for children of all ages & fireworks at 9:45 pm. Also Bouncy Houses and Zip line, Wagon Rides, Reptile shows, Face Painting, Food Truck Court and more!
Canada Day celebrations at the museum of space and aviationfrom 9 am to 5 pm with tons of entertainment and activities for the whole family including a Rocket launch by the Ottawa Rocketry Group, Parachute demonstration by Parachute GO Skydive, an ejection seat demonstration and inflatable structures. The admission fee to the museum is FREE all day on July 1st (donations welcome).
Canada Day at the Agriculture and Food Museum from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. It’s time to celebrate! The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is highlighting Canada’s birthday with lots of exciting activities for the whole family. Tempt your sweet tooth with maple ice cream making and tasting, or sample a piece of strawberry cake. Watch our special demonstrations and learn about Canadian livestock breeds, then test your knowledge with the Great Canadian Quiz! Little hands can keep busy making a special craft to take home. Museum admission will be FREE, but advanced ticketing is strongly recommended as capacity will be controlled.
Canada Day at the Diefenbunker Museum will have family-friendly activities from 10am to 3:00pm. Includes family-friendly activities, a Canada themed scavenger hunt through the entire 4 story underground Bunker, an obstacle course, and more! Entry times must be booked ahead of time. Entry cannot be guaranteed without a pre-booked ticket.
Canada Day Celebrations in AlmonteMississippi Mills celebrates Canada’s Birthday for two days! Starting in Pakenham on June 30th with a parade at 7:00PM and ending at dusk on July 1st with our second amazing fireworks show.
