June has many family friendly festivals, fairs & outdoor events for the whole family to enjoy!

Italian Week will be held from June 5-16 2024 in and around the heart of Ottawa’s Little Italy! Events highlight all-things Italian from art, music , food and heritage!

Pirate Life Ottawa invites you to the 1st annual Ottawa Pirate Fest at Mooney’s Bay on June 8th 2024 from 9:30am to 8:30pm! There will be fun family-friendly pirate themed activities throughout the day and crafty local vendors on site.

The Ottawa Reptile, Plant & Aquatic Expo will be held at the EY Centre. Saturday June 8th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday June 9th from 10am to 4pm.

The Festival Franco-Ontarien will be held from June 13-15 2024 at Major’s Hill Park in Ottawa. Celebrate francophone culture through concerts, street art and entertainment at this annual outdoor event in Canada’s capital.

The 3rd Annual Tractor Jam will be held on June 16th 2024 at Stanley’s Olde Maple Farm. Enjoy a day packed with non-stop fun, excitement and entertainment you won’t want to miss. From tractor pulls to classic car showcases, live music performances and a myriad of games and activities for kids, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

The Orleans Tennis & Pickleball Club is hosting the 1st ever Pickleball Festival on June 16th 2024. This free family fun event will have activities for everyone to enjoy. From a kids Zone with a balloon artist, “Learn to Play” workshops, face painting and food trucks!

The Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival will be held June 19th to 23rd 2024 at Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa. It is a family friendly festival that celebrates the culture of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples with Competition Pow Wow, Family Friendly Entertainment on main stage, a family fun zone and much more.

The Tim Horton Dragon Boat Festival will take place at Mooney’s Bay from June 21-23 2024 with tons of FREE family fun.

Fiddles on the Rideau Festival will be held from June 21-23 2024 in Manotick. Come enjoy music, workshops, pontoon boat rides and more.

The world famous RCMP Musical Ride Sunset Ceremonies will be held from June 27 – 30 2024 at 7pm at the Musical Ride Centre in Ottawa. This amazing performance includes complex and thrilling cavalry figures and drills choreographed to music.
