Father’s Day Car Show
Billings Estate National Historic Site will be open June 16 from 10 am to 3 pm for the Father’s Day Car Show. Treat your dad, paternal role model, or favourite car enthusiast to a day of family-friendly fun at Billings Estate National Historic Site. Pre-1999 vintage, antique, and classic car owners are invited to display and share stories about their vehicles. The cost is 8.42$ per person or 21.85$ per family. There will also be a BBQ at an extra cost.
Father’s Day Train Rides at RMEO
Bring your dad for a day at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario on June 16 2024. Activities include train rides, hay rides, antique car show. Cost is 17.15$ per person.
Take Your Dad Fishing For FREE
On Father’s Day weekend (June 15-16), you will not need to purchase a fishing licence to go fishing!
Free fishing periods remind us of the value of Ontario’s recreational fishery, and the importance of keeping it healthy for future generations. While fishing you must:
- follow conservation licence catch limits
- obey size limits and sanctuaries
- follow the fishing regulations
- carry a permit or identification card issued by the provincial or federal government, showing your name and date of birth

For the car lovers: the Ottawa chapter of the Ferrari Club of America will hold its Ferrari Festival in conjunction with the Ottawa Italian Festival, featuring more than 50 Ferraris and other rare Italian and exotic sports cars.
