SATURDAY AUGUST 9th 2025


The Navan Fair will be on this weekend.

The 2025 edition of the Ottawa International Busker Festival will be taking place on Sparks Street from August 8th to 10th & is set out to be an incredible edition with an amazing lineup of performers as well as face painting, balloon artists, music and more!!

Head down to Winchester for an “udderly” fantastic summer festival at DairyFest 2025 with fun for the whole family!

War Machines Weekend at the Canadian War Museum from 10am to 4pm. Watch and hear history come to life as powerful military vehicles from the Second World War rumble into action behind the Canadian War Museum.

Changing of the Guard Ceremony on Parliament Hill at 10am.

TrainFest 2025! Head to the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario on Saturday from 10am to 4pm for a day of family fun as they celebrate all things railways with something for everyone!

Swing by Tanger on August 9th from 11am to 3pm for a reptile extravaganza! Meet with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TM), catch Ray’s Reptiles in action with Nature’s ninjas, and snag a balloon critter or two!

A Midsummer Night’s Scream will take place on August 9th 2025 from 6-10pm at Saunders Farm

Les Grands Feux Casino Lac-Leamy will have the MEXICO firework display starting at 9:15pm behind the Canadian Museum of History over the Ottawa River.

FREE Outdoor Family Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off will be playing at ZIBI on Albert Island as part of Capital Pop-Up Cinema starting at 8:30pm

The Water Lantern Festival is a night you’ll remember forever! On August 9th 2025 at Andrew Haydon Park in Nepean.

Join Mrs. Gee at GeesBees Honey Company to learn all about honeybees during a 40 min long Show & Tell!

Family Fun Dayz at Roy Duncan Park from 1pm to 4pm. A great afternoon with FREE family fun!

Sports Spectacular: Wading Pool Event at the Woodroffe Wading Pool from 1pm to 3pm.
Come test your skills in a variety of fun & challenging water sports! Including a bean bag toss, balloon pop, crafts & water sports and a bouncy house for jumping.

Storytime at Rideau Hall from 1pm to 3pm. Frontier College staff and volunteers invite the general public, families, and groups of children to settle in under the Reading Tent to read books and to participate in fun reading, writing, and science activities. While you are at Rideau Hall, take in the sights and visit for the whole day!

SUNDAY AUGUST 10th 2025
