The 38th edition of the FMG – Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 will be held from Wednesday August 27th to Sunday August 31st 2025 at Parc de La Baie in Gatineau. Come with your children to watch a spectacular hot air balloon lift off or simply enjoy any of the shows and activities offered during the weekend.
The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is the biggest summer event in the Outaouais.
Family activities include:
- Take a Hot Air Balloon Ride every day (except Wednesday morning)!
- Watch hot air balloon take off every morning weather permitting
- Witness the FMG Night Glow every night around 7:45pm, conditions permitting
- Fireworks every night at 10pm (Wednesday & Thursday); at 10:15pm (Friday to Sunday)
- Have fun on the rides at the Beauce Carnaval Amusement Park
- Test your agility and courage on a 14 foot high climbing wall!
- Come to the GPW-LPG wrestling gala Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm
- Come to the lift-off area to discover the car show on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4pm
- Meet the hot air balloon pilots Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm
- Attend family-friendly performances , see strolling characters, play a game of mini-golf, check out the inflatable games, kids can get their face painted and check out the mobile arcade.
Artists performing this year include: FLO RIDA, Alessia Cara, Eric Lapointe, Marie-Mai and many more!
