On June 4-5th, 2022 KingDom Theatre is hosting Buzzing Carnival, a huge event that will showcase the immense talent of Ottawa children!

Children’s creative groups from Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal will participate in the Buzzing Parade that will walk through the scenic Andrew Haydon Park, 200+ young artists will present in the Buzzing Concert on the welcoming outdoor stage, perform shows on the theatre stage at Nepean Creative Arts Centre, exhibit works of visual art, run arts workshops and make arts installation, and celebrate together at a breathtaking outdoor dance party!

CARNIVAL SCHEDULE

Saturday June 4th at Andrew Haydon Park

11:00 am – Summer Music: Various children’s musical bands will present a concert of cheerful summer music with the best tunes of POP, Disney, and classical pieces.
2:00 pm – Buzzing Parade: Children’s artistic groups will join the Buzzing Parade that will walk through the scenic Andrew Haydon Park. Expect costumes, puppets, music, and dance flash mobs.
3:00 pm – Arts Installation: Workshop for all ages. We invite everyone to participate in an arts and crafts workshop to collaborate on the creation of a large art installation on a beautiful wooden stage in the middle of the pond.
4:00 pm – Buzzing Concert. Youth performers will take over the outdoor stage to present colourful numbers: theatre, dance, and circus.
7:00 pm – Outdoor Dance Party. EVERYONE is invited to join a breathtaking outdoor party with a DJ, huge carnival balls, fun costumes, and rock the summer night with some energetic dance moves!
