Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Canadian Museum of History

The Museum’s 9th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on November 21st 2024 at 6pm. It will also kick off the Museum’s Christmas Market!

Come enjoy music by the Carleton University Choir, along with complimentary hot chocolate, gingerbread cookies, and maple taffy on snow (while quantities last). New this year: face painting and ice sculpture!

Invite family and friends to the official countdown, and don’t forget to dress warmly to fully appreciate this outdoor activity.

The Museum’s Christmas Market will take place from November 21st to 24th. It will have nearly 100 exhibitors in the majestic Grand Hall and the Panrama Cafe. You will find holiday decorations, artistic woodworking, glass items, gourmet food products, fine spirits, original jewellery, stunning fashion accessories, and much more!
