Experience Ottawa’s Largest Midway and so much more at the Capital Fair! Every August for 10 days of Family Fun for Everyone!

Head down to Monster Trucks ALL OUT at the Carp Fairgrounds on Saturday August 23rd from 9am to 6:15pm to see iconic Canadian Monster Trucks and even take a ride in a real truck

The Overbrook Day is back again for their ultimate summer celebration on Saturday August 23rd from 4pm to 8pm at Overbrook Park.

Saint Lucia Festival – Get ready for a day full of Caribbean flavour, culture and fun at Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa on August 23rd from 11am to 8pm. 

Changing of the Guard Ceremony on Parliament Hill at 10am.

Expo Orléans 2025, brought to you by We Live It, is a celebration of Orléans’ diverse artistic and entrepreneurial spirit. Expo Orleans will take place at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans from 10am to 4pm. 

Celebrate the Scottish culture and heritage of the Ottawa Valley at the 40th annual North Lanark Highland Games in Almonte, Ontario.

The Ottawa Greek Festival will be celebrating it’s 50th anniversary! Admission is FREE. Activities will take place from 12pm to 11pm on Saturday.

Head to Queenswood Ridge Park in Orleans for the third annual Music Festival & Family Fun Day!
Free Food with a donation to the Food Bank! Free Face Painting and Bouncy Castle for Kids! Gifts, Foods & Drinks from 20+ Local Vendors! Beer Garden from Orleans Brewing Co! & Live Music from Sing House Studios, School of Rock, Krystle Holmes, Mark Green, Lovarra & more!
 
The 2025 RCC Dragon Boat Regatta, hosted by the Rideau Canoe Club, is scheduled for Saturday August 23, 2025 from 8am to 5pm. 
 
The annual Stittsville’s Cornfest is here again! Village Square Park–Saturday August 23rd from 10am to 3pm with 40+ vendors, Local Corn Growers and everything corn! Corn shucking contest, Corn fresh cooked or take home by the dozen or less! Fresh squeezed lemonade, Popcorn, and back to school items! Door Prizes! Live Music (Hopefully our local Banjo Maestro) Dog Friendly!
 
Rona Carleton Place is excited to announce that they will be hosting our second Touch- A- Truck event! On August 23rd from 10am -2pm our parking lot will be full of cool, fun, and exciting trucks from some of our favourite community companies!
 
Take in the game with your fluffy plus one! Bark in the Park returns at the Ottawa Stadium.
 
Summer Carnival and Movie Night at Balena Park (1640 Devon Street) in the heart of Riverview Park on Saturday, 23 August at 6:30 PM. Enjoy fun for the whole family. There will be games, freezies, popcorn, a campfire, and a screening of the Disney movie Moana 2 (movie will start at 8 PM).
 

SUNDAY AUGUST 24th 2025

Come and dance Zumba on Parliament Hill from 4pm to 5pm.

Sensory Sundays at the Bank of Canada Museum from 9am to noon

The Latin Festival & Fair will be held at Lansdowne park on August 24th from 11am to 8pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to celebrate and learn Latin American hospitality, beyond their enchanting Spanish Language.
