Holiday Hunting at the Canada Science and Technology Museum from 9am to 5pm. This holiday season, put on your detective hat and head to the Canada Science and Technology Museum! A brand-new Search-and-Find Game will challenge your sleuthing skills as you explore the exhibitions. After you’ve tapped into your inner Sherlock Holmes, relax and enjoy one of the many demonstrations peppered throughout the museum.

Vintage Village of Lights A great place to get in the Christmas spirit is the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum during their Vintage Village of Lights. You can walk through the illuminated and decorated village and even run into Santa. 

Decks the Halls at Billings Estate National Historic Site from 4pm to 7pm. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the season and enjoy a special Christmas themed guided tour of the museum. Learn more about the Billings family, see life as an early settler family through their eyes, and take in the festive decorations that signal the arrival of the holidays at Ottawa’s oldest wood-framed house.

Magic of Lights. Pile everyone in the car! Magic of Lights at Wesley Clover Parks is back for the 2021 edition, and it’s the perfect activity to enjoy the beautiful lights all while maintaining social distances!

A Country Christmas Nighttime Drive-Through Experience.
Visit the amazing Country Christmas Drive-Through experience through our beautiful 180-year-old family Farm and forest. Cost is 35$ per vehicle.

Ottawa Christmas Market from 5pm to 10pm. Located in the Casino Lac-Leamy Plaza while surrounded by snow-capped heritage buildings and wooden chalets is the Ottawa Christmas Market presented by TD. Thousands of Christmas lights and decorations twinkle and sparkle to create that festive atmosphere that is accompanied by holiday entertainment, local flavours, and, of course, some holiday shopping!

Christmas Lights Across Canada from 5:30pm to 1am. Don’t miss the 37th edition of the Christmas Lights Across Canada that kicks off on December 8th, 2021 to January 7th 2022.

Enchanted Holiday Drive 2021 from 5:30 to 8pm, Ottawa’s Premier Holiday Drive-thru returns. Tickets are 35$ per vehicle.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 18th 2021

Christmas down on the farm at the Log Farm Come visit our many barnyard friends, check out Santa’s workshop, drop of your letters to Santa. Christmas music, bonfire, wagon rides.

Holiday Storytellers at the NGC – Kwanzaa from 1 to 3pm. Join us on four afternoons in December for Holiday Storytellers at the NGC, and enjoy seasonal tales for everyone by the region’s top storytellers.

Dylan Thomas’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales at 2pm & 7pm at the Gladstone Theatre. Dylan Thomas transports us to a snow-blanketed town—the seaside Welsh town where he was born. Bear&Co. brings his rough-and-tumble characters to life, shares their own memories, and sends your spirits soaring with midwinter harmonies.
Join us for candle-lighting and stories, and a sweet carol hum.

Holiday Kids Concert at Evergreen Craft Ales from 3 to 4pm. A concert for kids and parents to enjoy together with a Holiday theme. Join us to dance along to songs both kids and parents can enjoy.

Christmas Lights across Canada was created in 1985 to highlight landmarks along Confederation Boulevard such as the Parliament Hill, national museums, embassies and monuments. It also kicks off the holiday season in Ottawa!
