With Halloween just weeks away, here are some great activities and parties to celebrate!

 

 

 

A Barnyard Hallowe’en at Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. October 29th and 30th from 9:30 to 4:30. Come see farm animals, enjoy a trick or treat scavenger hunt, a costume parade and much more!

Le Village Fantome (Ghost Town) in Cantley will be on Saturday October 29th from 5pm to 9pm and Sunday October 30th from 10am to 2pm. It is a great activity with young kids.

The Incident at the Bunker: A Zombie Adventure is a unique Halloween experience that is recommended for children age 12 and up at the Diefenbunker Cold War Museum in Carp on October 29th 30th & October 5th. It is a perfect combination of storytelling, interactive challenges, unexpected surprises and of course…zombies. Tickets are limited and it is strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance.

Come to Marion Dewar Plaza and Jean Piggot Place for the Mayor’s Halloween Party on October 29th from 4 to 7pm. Dress up, visit the spooky witches’ den, decorate your very own miniature pumpkin, take photos in the fall-themed photo booth and ride the Giant Tiger train. Admission is a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Supply Cupboard.

Come out to the Watson Mill’s Children Halloween Party on Saturday October 29th for an afternoon filled with fun and friendly Halloween games and crafts.

Come celebrate Halloween at Rideau Hall on October 31st from 5 to 8pm where Rideau Hall staff will be on hand to distribute goodies to trick-or-treaters of all ages.

Come Trick or Treat at Fairfields Heritage House on October 31st from 5:30 to 8:30pm.

Kids Kingdom will be hosting a Halloween party on Friday October 21st from 5 to 8pm with a haunted house appropriate for ages 2 and up, prizes for best costume and much more! Ticket are 20$ per child in advance (adults are free) and 25$ at the door.

The GNAG (Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group) will be hosting their annual Halloween Party on Sunday October 30th from 4 to 6:30pm with cookie decorating, face painting, a haunted house, a kinder fun house and preschool crafts. Tickets are 7$ per child.

The Children’s Halloween Workshop will take place at Mansion Mayhem on October 30th from 1 to 4pm where kids ages 6 to 11 will make edible haunted houses, creepy crafts and play ghoulish games. Tickets are 25$ per child.

Billings Estate National Historic Site is hosting  a Halloween Party on Sunday October 30th from 10 to 4 pm. Visit our variety of child-sized historic buildings while hunting down famous movie monsters, making fake blood and flapping bats to take home, and haunting the runway in the ever-popular costume parade!. Cost: $6.15/person, $10.20/pair, $16.35/family.

Come celebrate Halloween at Horaceville on Sunday October 23rd from 10am to 4pm and enjoy the traditional treats of Halloween tricksters while carving pumpkins and listening to some family-friendly scary stories. Cost $6.15/individual, $10.20/pair, $16.35/family

Bring your little ones to Trick or Treat at place d’Orleans  on Monday October 31st from 10am to noon and enjoy some face painting from 10 to 2pm (FREE).

Come Trick or Treak at Carlingwood Mall on Saturday October 29th from 11am to 3pm. You can also meet & greet and take a picture with Peppa Pig ($10 per family).

Fairwinds Community is hosting their 4th Annual Halloween Party on Sunday October 23rd from 2 to 4pm at Campobello Park in Stittsville with games, crafts, candy, prize for the best costume and much more!

You’re invited to a Halloween Masquerade Sunday October 30th at 12pm at the Glen Cairn Community Centre in Kanata with spooky snacks, Halloween activities, trick or treating and much more! Tickets are 30$ per child and 25$ per additional child.
